An honest look at how your data is protected
Tomo thinks with an AI model in the cloud — that is part of the truth. The protection comes in four layers.
Masking first. Sensitive personal data — names, case numbers, dates of birth, addresses — is pseudonymized before anything is processed. You never hand over data in the clear.
Processing in the EU, under a data processing agreement. Signed with you, no training on your data.
No lock-in to someone else's IT. You don't need approval from anyone's IT department. Tomo runs through my secured endpoint.
The strictest tier is in the works. For cases where truly nothing may leave the device, an on-premise version with a local model is coming. As soon as the hardware can carry it, I'll say so openly.
We sort out the legal framework together
Professional secrecy under Section 203 of the German Criminal Code and data protection are serious matters. Before we start, I walk through the framework with your lawyer or data protection officer instead of giving you a blanket promise. What works, and how, gets proven — not claimed.
